Contact parts are held between these two housing parts. Insulation-piercing connecting devices on the front side project into a receiving slit open towards the rear, of the inner housing The contact parts have a nose-like protrusion (13) which projects into a corresponding depression (12) of the inner housing This makes it possible to produce the complicated inner housing in one injection moulding operation.

0 055 00 IA Stack distributor for a telecommunications system The invention relates to a stack distributor for a telecommunications system, preferably telephone system, in which disc-like contact components of the stack distributor can be stacked above one another.
A contact component of this type has become known, for example, from the Auslegeschrift 2,518,832. According to the latter, the contact component is provided with flat contact parts extending in approximately elongated fashion which are designed for connecting incoming and outgoing lines, in the form of contact springs that can make contact pair-wise with one another in the inside of the contact component and in the form of insulation-piercing connecting devices at their outer ends. The contact component has a housing composed of two housing parts. In this arrangement, a front housing inner part partially projects into a rear 15 housing outer part. The contact parts are held between the housing parts. The inner housing has a nose-like projection 2, which projects into a centring hole of the contact part and secures the latter against longitudinal displacement.
The housing inner part is designed in such a way that the 20 individual faces are relatively easily accessible and that the mould releasing direction of the injection die is perpendicular with respect to the flat outer side.
In accordance with the present invention there is disclosed a stack distributor for a telecommunications system comprising disc-like contact 25 components provided with contiguous flat contact parts extending substantially parallel in approximately elongate fashion which are designed for connecting incoming and outgoing lines of said distributor, the contact components being in the form of contact springs that can make pair-wise contact with one another in the inside of the contact components and which have insulation-piercing connecting devices at their outer ends, each contact component having a housing formed of two separate housing parts, an inner housing of which projects into an outer housing, in which the insulation piercing devices protrude out of the housing at a front side of the distributor for connection to the incoming and outgoing lines, andthe contact parts are held between the housing 625o 1B parts and fixed against longitudinal displacement on the inner housing by mutual projections and depressions wherein the projections on the contact parts are formed as nose-like projections and the depressions are formed as a dip in the inner housing.
As a result of the depression being formed as a dip in the inner housing, it is possible to produce this form with the aid of sliding needles in the injection moulding die. This means that the mould releasing direction can lie in the plane of the disc-like housing parts.
This permits undercuts in the housing, as a result of which, for example, the insulation-piercing e e* o *o o *oo *e *ooo STA/IAD/16250 2 89 P 1573 DE connecting devices disposed on the operating side can be covered to a large extent to be protected from touching.
A fur ther dovo ipmnt of the i "vention of thit .yp 3 reharacteied aln Claim 2. After being joined together with the outer housing, the receiving slit open towards the rear is closed by said housing so that the insulation-piercing connecting devices are almost completely surrounded.
The invention will be explained in greater detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment illustrated in the drawing, in which: Fig. 1 shows a partial section through a part of a stack distributor, Fig. 2 shows another partial section through the stack 15 distributor of Figure 1, Fig. 3 shows an enlarged section from Figure 1.
According to Figures 1, 2 and 3, in a stack distributor 1, disc-like contact components 2 and flat disc-shaped wire guides 3 are alternately stacked above '20 one another in a support part 4. The contact component 2 consists of an inner housing 5, an outer housing 6 and contact parts 7. The contact parts 7 are designed as insulation-piercing connecting devices 8 for connecting hook-up wires on the operating side of the stack distri- 25 butor 1. In the interior of the stack distributor 1, they terminate in contact springs 9 which are interconnected in each case pair-wise via a break contact 10. The latter can be interrupted by the insertior. of a connector 11.
The inner housing 5 is covered by the outer 30 housing 6 to a large extent. The contact parts 7 are held between the two housing parts. In this arrangement, the inner housing 5 has a depression 12 in the form of a cylindrical dip. This dip is produced by a displaceable needle of an injection moulding die. At this point the contact part 7 has a corresponding cylindrical nose-like protrusion 13 which projects into the depression 12. As a result of this meshing, the contact parts 7 are prevented from being displaced when a hook-up wire is pressed in.
3 89 P 1573 DE The insulation-piercing connecting devices 8 on the front side project into receiving compartments 14 of the inner housing 5 which are open towards the rear. They are covered to a large extent by outer walls 15 of the receiving compartments 14. In order to be able to produce this receiving slit in injection moulding, the mould releasing direction of the dies must correspond to the housing plane. This is made possible in that the depressions 12 are produced with the aid of sliding needles which can be moved perpendicularly with respect to the mould releasing direction.
