Abstract

The contact carrier consists of a contact spring retaining part (1) for contact springs which are to be inserted, and of a part which can be connected to said retaining part and is constructed as a cassette (9). These parts (1 and 9) can be connected to one another by means of latching hooks (3, 3') which are in the form of catches and are intended to latch in openings (33) in the side walls (10, 10') of the cassette (9). Tabs (4) for holding the completely assembled contact carrier in a distributor housing, and stops (5) for limiting the insertion depth in this housing are additionally integrally formed on the contact spring retaining part (1). Furthermore, on the insertion side of the contact spring retaining part (1), the cassette (9) has webs (21, 21') which are provided with a groove (22) for the purpose of lateral guidance of the contact spring retaining part (1). This construction results in it being possible to construct the contact carrier in a short time and easily, that is to say merely by connecting the two parts (1 and 9) to one another.
