Abstract

The invention concerns a method and facility for manufacturing prefabricated elements. The method is used to machine single panels, in particular processed timber panels, using a sawing or milling device which is controlled by a computer using one or more parameters. If necessary, spacer elements can be fixed in a predetermined distribution on the single panel. To produce double-walled prefabricated elements, complementary spacer elements are placed in matching positions on two panels which are then joined with the aid of a joining device.
