Abstract
The invention concerns a novel solution to the problem of providing a connection in wood-concrete composite structures. Wood-concrete connecting elements of this type can be used in the construction of new buildings or the renovation of old ones, and in bridge building. The novelty of the connecting element lies in the principle of the transmission of shearing forces between the wood (4) and concrete (5). The shearing forces are transmitted by a larger rod-shaped connecting element (1) via a plate (3) to a number of smaller rod-shaped connecting elements (2).
