Abstract

A device for dispensing a solid material which can be locally removed by friction, especially a solid adhesive, having a sleeve (1) with lateral slots (2) and a piston (8) movable in the sleeve by means (12) arranged in the region of the slot and movable from outside to dispense the solid material from the sleeve, is intended to provide a system for storing and dispensing air-sensitive solid materials, especially adhesives, in the simplest possible manner, cheaply and easily handled. This is attained in that at least in the region of the slot (2) the sleeve is fitted with a flexible plastic film proof against the removable material and that the moving means consist of spring-loaded dogs (13) engaging in the slot (2) from outside.
