Abstract

This Soft Sole Baby/Toddler Sandal design is new in design based on the following distinct features; 1. The dual layer leather sole allows for the upper to be fixed in between the two sole layers therefor eliminating the commonly occurring irritation to a baby's or toddler's foot by the exposed raw edges of leather normally found in soft sole style footwear. Irritation is caused from the shoe's upper being sewn/fixed to the sole and left exposed on the inside of the shoe. This shoe design provides a soft flat inner sole surface without the uncomfortable edges digging into the child's foot. 2. The design of the upper allows for the width and fit of the shoe to be adjusted to the individuals foot. Other soft sole footwear for babies is made to a particular measurement and therefor if a child's foot is very narrow or very broad the shoe does not fit well and can cause adverse problems with bone development and balance/walking skills. This design eliminates those problems.
