Abstract

1. Mop having a handle (1) on which a mop element is fixed, and also having a press device (3) for the mop element, with the press device (3) consisting of a press plate (13), acting via a multiple lever system, a counterpress plate (8), with accommodation for the guided-through parts of a pull device, and an arrangement for the guidance of the mop element in the press space (11) formed between the press plate and the counterpress plate, with catch mountings (14) which are made in one piece both in a housing (7), formed a U-shaped part and a cover part, and on the press plate (13) being provided for rotatably accommodating swinging levers (12) of the multiple lever system, and with the counterpress plate (8) being a part of the housing (7).
