Abstract
A device for the long-term storage of heat energy has a buried tank (50) whose walls (51-56) comprise an inner layer (61-66), an outer layer (81-86) and a heat-insulating layer (71-76) arranged between the inner and outer layers, a feeding device (41, 42A, 42B) for feeding a liquid containing the heat energy to be stored into the inside (93, 94) of the buried tank (50) and a tapping device (41, 44A, 44B) for leading the liquid from the inside of the buried tank to a heat consumer (20). The insulating layer (71-76) of the buried tank (50) consists of rigid mouldings (71A, 72A-72D, 73A-73D, 74A-74D, 75A-75D) made of a heat-insulating material which support the inner (61-66) and outer layers (81-86) against one another while leaving air chambers free therebetween.
