Abstract

Folding cover for motor vehicles, in particular for motor bikes, which is formed from a cover hood (2) which is essentially matched or cut to the vehicle body or frame shape of the motor bike (1) to be covered and whose lower edge (3) extending near to the standing or floor region of the motor bike (1) is, if appropriate, provided with lugs (4) for an elongate securing element such as a cord or the like, and which, in the region of marks on the covered vehicle, e.g. numberplates (5), registration discs (6) and, if appropriate, manufacturer's identification plates (7, 7'), is constructed with transparent windows so that the marks on the motor bike (1) can be read when the hood (2) is placed on the motor bike (1). By virtue of the attachment of transparent windows (8, 8', 8'', 11) in the cover hood matched to the vehicle, people in authority or supervising personnel can ascertain the essential features of the vehicle at any time without the cover having to be removed. <IMAGE>
