Abstract

The seat comprises a base, a seat part and a back-rest so positioned that when the user is sitting on the chair, the pelvis is straight. The back-rest comprises a support piece which constitutes a back support for the pelvis bones, on a level with the sacro-iliac ligament, and above the most backward point of the sacrum. The support-piece comprises three support areas of at least ten millimetres width and a depth of at least five millimetres each. The middle area is set back in relation to the two others.
