BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
A machine according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is herein
described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Figure 1 illustrates a block diagram of the machine,
Figure 2 illustrates process flow chart, followed by the customer is shown,
Figure 3 illustrates process flow chart, followed by the goods dispensing machine is
shown,
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A machine is herein described with numerous specific details so as to provide a complete
understanding of the invention. However these specific details are exemplary details and
should not be treated as the limitation to the scope of the invention. Throughout this
specification the word "comprise" or variations such as "comprises or comprising", will be understood to imply the inclusions of a stated element, integer or step, or group of elements, integers or steps, but not the exclusions of any other element, integer or step or group of elements, integers or steps.
Referring to the drawing, figure 1, and block diagram of the machine is shown. The
machine comprises a customer registration interface generator (101), being provided to
facilitate registration for the first time customer. The customer makes entry in the
registration module (102) generated through customer registration interface generator
(101). In one embodiment the customer information is retained / stored at the database
server (104) to facilitate the customer on his next visit to the mart as per his/her choice of
goods purchasing. A biometric scanner (103), adapted to be connected with the database
server (104), is provided for collecting the biometric sample of the customer needed to
authenticate and verify the customer on his/her next visit. RFID tags are installed on the
carts available at mart, a RIFD tag reader (105), is provide to link the machine with a
specific cart carrying the RIFD tag. On the successful linking of cart with the machine, the
customer is provided a user interface(106) on the display of machine. The barcode scanner
(107) is provided with the machine to retrieve the information of product such as
manufacturing date, expiry date, ingredients, nutrition information, net volume or weight
on the screen of the machine in a contactless manner. Among the different products
inspected, the customer selects the specific product he desires using the product selection
(108) utility provided at the dispensing machine. The recommendation system (109)is
provided to facilitate customer with recommendations of goods based on his/her purchase
history and current products added to the cart. The customer is provided the option to
select recommended product along with their location in mart through a navigation system
(110) installed in machine. Based on the products added to the cart, bill is generated and
payment gateway (114) is provided for collection of billing amount online.
Various dispensing machines are installed at different places of mart to contactless
dispense the sanitized goods. The dispensing machine displays the barcodes of the product
placed inside to facilitate customer with the inspection of the products through the product
selection (108) utility. A sanitization system (111) is provided to sanitize the selected
product before it is added to the cart. Before dispensing the product, the cart RIFD tag is
scanned through RFID scanner (112) to ensure the contactless delivery of the selected
product to the correct cart.
Referring to figure 2, process flow chart of the machine followed by the customer is
shown. The customer in block (201) get a machine and a cart issued from the mart. If the
customer is visiting the store for the first time (202), then he/she register himself / herself
in block (203) and provide their biometric samples in block (204). If the customer is not
the first time visitor, he/she can directly login to the machine using his/her biometric in
block (205). On the successful login, the customer links the cart with machine by scanning
RFID tag provided on cart in block (206). In block (207) customer inspects the product
available in the dispensing machine in contactless manner by scanning the barcode of
products displayed by dispensing machine. In block (208) the customer makes the
selection of product he/she wish to purchase. In block (209) the information of product
selected is uploaded in the database further, which is further used by recommendation
system to suggest related products to customer based on his/her purchase history and
currently selected products. In block (210) customer make a choice if he/she wish to visit
any product recommended by recommendation system and further extract the location
information of that product in block (211). After the multiple cycles of product selection as
desired by user, bill is generated and bill is paid online by customer in block (212).
Referring to figure 3, process flow chart of the followed by the goods dispensing machine
is shown. In block (301) the dispensing machine displays the barcode of various product
stored in dispensing machine. After the customer selects a product to buy, the dispensing
machine sanitize the selected product in block (302). The cart linked with customer
machine is verified by RFID tag scanning of the RFID tag placed on cart to avoid
dispensing of product to wrong cart in block (303). On the successful cart linking, the
selected product is dispensed in the block (304).
Certain features of the invention have been described with reference to the example
embodiments. However, the description is not intended to be construed in a limiting sense.
Various modifications of the example embodiments as well as other embodiments of the
invention, which are apparent to the persons skilled in the art to which the invention
pertains, are deemed to lie within the spirit and scope of the invention.
