The invention is described in the following statement:-
A PROTECTIVE DEVICE USED AFTER HEAD DECOMPRESSION SURGERY TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to the technical field of medical equipment, in particular
to a protective device used after head decompression surgery.
BACKGROUND
Decompressive craniectomy is applied in various diseases of central nervous system
such as craniocerebral injury, cerebrovascular disease, brain tumor, and has become a
routine operation in neurosurgery, which can effectively reduce intracranial pressure and
save lives. At the same time, postoperative care is also particularly important, and pressure
relief in the area of the surgical bone flap is one of the important contents of postoperative
care. Generally, in clinical nursing work, it is often only to mark the " pressure
forbidden" mark on the dressing of the surgical area, instead of using protective equipment
that can avoid pressure forbidden or resist pressure for actual protection. Therefore, the
current existing nursing care cannot play an effective protective role, and in order to avoid
the risk of accidental touching of the patient's surgical area, this application has designed a
head protective cap with hard plastic bone fragments, in which, the hard plastic bone
fragment can effectively protect the bone flap area of the head surgery, thereby protecting
the safety of the patient.

on the fixed edge and are not connected to each other, and the sliding rails are ports that
penetrate the upper and lower sides of the fixed edge or the upper and outer sides. The
device comprises a hard plastic bone piece, a four-bone piece fixing belt and four clamping
pieces also. The hard plastic bone pieces are fixedly arranged on the outer side of the inner
lining layer through four bone piece fixing belts. The four bone piece fixing belts are
respectively arranged on four sides of the hard plastic bone piece, one end of the four bone
piece fixing belts is connected with the hard plastic bone piece, and the other end of the
four bone piece fixing belts respectively passes through the four sliding rails and extends
out of the fixing edge. The bone piece fixing belt and the fixing edge are slidingly
connected. Each clamping piece corresponds to a sliding rail, the clamping piece is inserted
from the outer side of the fixed edge to the inside of the fixed edge, and the sliding rail is
sealed inside. The clamping piece is slidingly connected with the fixing edge, and the slide rail is sealed in a sliding mode to clamp a bone piece fixing belt on the slide rail or is opened to loosen the bone piece fixing belt.
Further, the bone piece fixing belt and the hard plastic bone piece are detachably
connected.
Further, the hard plastic bone piece has a semi-elliptical arc structure, and a plurality
of air-permeable through holes are opened on it.
Further, the inner lining layer is made of cotton material and has elasticity.
Further, the head protection cap further includes a visor, which is detachably mounted
on the fixed edge and has a telescopic structure.
Further, the head protection cap further includes an outer lining layer, which covers
the inner lining layer and the outer side of the hard plastic bone fragment, and the lower
edge is fixed on the fixed edge by a HOOK&LOOP or a zipper.
Further, the head protection cap further includes a chin fixing belt, and the chin fixing
belt is detachable mounted on the fixing edge.
Further, the chin fixing band is a contracted structure.
Further, the lower jaw fixing strap is provided with two pieces and connected to the
opposite sides of the fixing edge respectively.
Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following beneficial effects:
1. In the present invention, a hard plastic bone fragment is set on the cap to cover the
bone removal flap area of the head surgery, so that the bone removal flap area will not be
touched or squeezed by the outside, thereby effectively protecting the safety of the patient.
Furthermore, the hard plastic bone piece is placed on the cap body through the bone piece
fixing belt, and the position of the hard plastic bone piece placed on the cap body is adjusted
by the sliding of the bone piece fixing belt on the slide rail, so that the hard plastic bone
piece can adapt to different bone flap removal areas in head surgery, and the application
range of the head protection cap is improved. In addition, the invention also fixes the
adjusted bone plate fixing belt through the clamping piece arranged on the fixing edge,
thereby fixing the hard plastic bone plate, preventing the hard plastic bone plate from
shifting in the use process and failing to effectively protect the bone flap removal area of
the head surgery of the patient.
2. The designed head protection cap after decompressive craniectomy can effectively
protect the craniectomy area of patients, and has simple structure, convenient use, wide
application range and good practicability.
