Detailed Description of Preferred Embodiments
Some exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described hereinafter in more details with reference to the drawings to better understand the basic concept of the invention.
Fig.l shows a perspective view of a fully closeable roll cage 1 according to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention in a ready-for-locking state.
As shown in Fig.l, the fully closeable roll cage 1 mainly comprises a first side panel 2, a second side panel 3, a first door 4, a second door 5, a top lid 6, a bottom panel 7, a bottom chassis 8 and so on. Preferably, in read-for-locking state shown in Fig.l, the first side panel 2 is opposite to the second side panel 3, the first door 4 is opposite to the second door 5, and the bottom panel 7 is opposite to the top lid 6, thereby together enclosing an interior receiving space to receive goods.
Therein, the first door 4 may be or called as a front door and the second door 5 may be or called as a back door.
The first door 4 is pivotably mounted on one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3, for example on the first side plane 2 such that the first door 4 can be pivoted around a first axis so as to be opened or closed. Similarly, the second door 5 is pivotably mounted on one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3, preferably on the other one, i.e. the second side panel 3 such that the second door 5 can be pivoted around a second axis so as to be opened or closed.
Preferably, one or more of the first side panel 2, the second side panel 3, the first door 4, the second door 5, the top lid 6 and the bottom panel 7 may be configured to have a frame structure with a mesh, as shown in Fig.l.
According to the present invention, the fully closeable roll cage 1 is configured such that it can be locked entirely by using only one lock. Specifically, an interlocking mechanism is provided such that the fully closeable roll cage 1 can be locked entirely as long as the first door 4 is locked relative to the second side panel 2 in the ready-for-locking state.
The interlocking principle will be described in detail only exemplarily with reference to the embodiment shown in Fig.l. It may be understood by the skilled person in the art that the interlocking mechanism is not limited to the one shown in 4

Fig.l.
As further shown in Fig.l, in the ready-for-locking state, the bottom panel 7 may be supported on the bottom chassis 8 and connected between the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3. The bottom chassis 8 is provided with a plurality of wheels 9 at a bottom thereof.
Preferably, the bottom panel 7 is pivotably mounted on a lower end of one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3 and at least one first connector 10 (for example, three first connectors 10 in Fig.l) is disposed on the bottom panel 7 to connect the bottom panel 7 with a lower end of the other one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3 such that the bottom panel 7 can be connected between the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3. In Fig.l, the bottom panel 7 is mounted on the lower end of the first side panel 2.
The first connector 10 is preferably configured as an engaging hook which can be engaged onto a transverse bar 11 at the lower end of the second side panel 3.
The top lid 6 is pivotably mounted on an upper end of one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3 such that the top lid 6 can be pivoted around a third axis, and at least one second connector 12 is disposed on the top lid 6 to connect the top lid 6 with an upper end of the other one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3 such that the top lid 6 can be connected between the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3. In Fig. 1, the top lid 6 is mounted on the upper end of the second side panel 3.
The second connector 12 is also preferably configured as an engaging hook which can be engaged onto an upper side tube 13 of the first side panel 2.

Preferably, the first locking part 14 is configured as a first locking loop and the second locking part 15 is configured as a second locking loop. In the ready-for-locking state, the first locking part 14 and the second locking part 15 are positioned, preferably aligned such that the first door 4 and the second side panel 3
11642603_1 (GHMatters) P111903.AU
2019226122 02 Sep 2019 can be locked together by a lock (not shown). In such a locked state, the first door 4 cannot be moved relative to the second side panel 3.
For locking the second door 5 by means of the locked state of the first door 4, the interlocking mechanism at least comprises an interlocking means configured to lock the second door 5 and the top lid 6 by utilizing the locked state of the first door 4.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the interlocking means comprises a first interacting means 18 configured to cause the first door 4 to interact with the top lid 6 and a second interacting means 19 (only a portion thereof is shown in Fig. 1) configured to cause the top lid 6 to interact with the second door 5. In this case, the locked state of the first door 4 can cause the second door 5 to be locked by the first interacting means 18, the top lid 6 and the second interacting means 19.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the first interacting means 18 is configured to comprise at least one, preferably two, engaging hook(s), disposed on the top lid 6, as shown in Fig.l. Preferably, in the locked state, the engaging hook will hook an upper end of the first door 4, preferably an upper side tube 20 of the first door 4.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the second interacting means 19 is configured to comprise at least one, preferably two, engaging hook(s), disposed on the top lid 6. Preferably, in the locked state, the engaging hook will prevent the second door 5 from being opened by acting on an upper end of the second door 5, preferably an upper side tube of the second door 5.
When the first door 4 is locked, the first door 4 will interact with the top lid 6 by the first interacting means 18 such that the top lid 6 cannot be moved and the top lid 6 will further interact with the second door 5 by the second interacting means 19 such that the second door 5 cannot be opened.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the fully closeable roll cage 1 may further comprise an additional locking mechanism configured to further improve locking or unlocking of the fully closeable roll cage 1.
For example, the additional locking mechanism may comprise at least one first additional locking means 21 (two first additional locking means 21 in Fig.l) configured to additionally lock the first door 4 with a respective one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3, for example the second side panel 3 as shown in Fig.l.
11642603_1 (GHMatters) P111903.AU
2019226122 02 Sep 2019
Preferably, the first additional locking means 21 is further configured to prevent the first door 4 from being pivoted and define an axial position of the first door 4 along the first axis, i.e. a height of the first door 4 relative to the second side panel
3. That is, when the first additional locking means 21 functions, the first door 4 cannot be pivoted and will be kept at a suitable height position. Preferably, at this suitable position, the first locking part 14 and the second locking part 15 will be positioned, preferably aligned such that the first door 4 and the second side panel 3 can be locked together by the lock, which will be convenient for locking the first door 4. As shown in Fig.l, the first locking part 14 and the second locking part 15 are aligned.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the first additional locking means 21 is configured to comprise a first additional locking part 22 disposed on the first door 4 and a second additional locking part 23 disposed on the second side panel 3.
Preferably, the first additional locking part 22 is configured as an engaging hook (preferably orientated horizontally) and the second additional locking part 23 is configured to comprise a receiving groove for receiving the engaging hook. Further preferably, the engaging groove is formed by an engaging hook orientated upwardly. Such a configuration will be shown more clearly in some subsequent figures.
When closing the first door 4, the first door 4 may be pulled slightly upwardly and then is put down so as to engage the first additional locking part 22 into the second additional locking part 23. In this case, the first door 4 can be opened only if the first additional locking part 22 is released from the second additional locking part 23 by moving the first door 4 upwardly along the first axis.
Therefore, in addition to pivotable mounting of the first door 4 as described above, the first door 4 is further configured such that it can be moved by a predetermined distance along the first axis.
The additional locking mechanism may further comprise at least one second additional locking means 24 (two second additional locking means 24 in Fig.l) configured to additionally lock the second door 5 with a respective one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3, for example the first side panel 4 as shown in Fig.l. The second additional locking means 24 has the same function as the first additional locking means 21 and thus can be configured in an identical or similar manner to the first additional locking means 21. Therefore, no further detail description of the second additional locking means 24 is made herein.
11642603_1 (GHMatters) P111903.AU
2019226122 02 Sep 2019
The additional locking mechanism also may further comprise at least one third additional locking means 25 (one third additional locking means 25 in Fig.l, due to a relatively smaller size of the top lid 6) configured to additionally lock the top lid 6 with a respective one of the first side panel 2 and the second side panel 3, for example the first side panel 4 as shown in Fig.l. The third additional locking means 25 may be similar to the first additional locking means 21 or the second additional locking means 24. However, the third additional locking means 25 is orientated in a different direction compared with the first additional locking means or the second additional locking means 24, as shown in Fig.l. For example, the third additional locking means 25 is locked only when the top lid 6 moves toward the second door 5 along the third axis in a closed state of the top lid 6.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the fully closeable roll cage 1 is locked, the lock locks the first door 4 by means of the locking means such that the first door 4 cannot be moved, in particular upwardly and thus the first additional locking means 21 cannot be unlocked, then the first interacting means 18 keeps the top lid 6 immovable, in particular toward the first door 4 and thus the third additional locking means 25 cannot be unlocked, and then the top lid 6 keeps the second door 5 immovable, in particular upwardly and thus the second additional locking means 24 cannot be unlocked, thereby reliably and completely locking the fully closeable roll cage 1.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, any one or more of the interlocking mechanism, the locking means and the additional locking mechanism may be disposed on the respective part by welding.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the fully closeable roll cage 1 may further comprise at least one middle shelf (not shown) disposed in the interior receiving space between the top lid 6 and the bottom panel 7.
Below, an opening process of the fully closeable roll cage 1 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to Figs.2 to 6.
Fig.2 shows a first step of the opening process in a perspective view, in which the first door 4 is lifted up along the first axis such that the first additional locking part is released from the second additional locking part 23 and the first interacting means 18 is deactivated.
Fig.3 shows a second step of the opening process in a perspective view, in which the first door 4 is opened by pivoting around the first axis. In this case, the first
11642603_1 (GHMatters) P111903.AU
2019226122 02 Sep 2019 door 4 preferably can be pivoted to an outside of the first side panel 2 to abut against the first side panel 2.
Fig.4 shows a third step of the opening process in a perspective view, in which the top lid 6 is moved away from the second door 5 along the third axis such that the third additional locking means 25 is unlocked and the second interacting means 19 is deactivated. In this case, the top lid 6 is allowed to be opened by pivoting around the third axis.
Fig.5 shows a fourth step of the opening process in a perspective view different from the perspective view of Fig.4, in which the second door 5 is lifted up along the second axis such that the second additional locking means 24 is unlocked. In this case, the second door 5 is allowed to be opened.by pivoting around the second axis.
Fig.6 shows a fifth step of the opening process in a perspective view, in which the second door 5 is opened. In this case, the second door 4 preferably can be pivoted to an outside of the second side panel 3 to abut against the second side panel 3.
Thereto, both the first door 4 and the second door 5 of the fully closeable roll cage 1 have been opened to load or unload the goods.
It may be understood by the skilled person in the art that the fully closeable roll cage 1 can be fully closed and locked by reverse operating steps.
Next, a folding-and-nesting process of the fully closeable roll cage 1 which can be carried out after the state shown in Fig.6 will be described in detail with reference to Fig.7 and Fig.8.
Fig.7 shows a first step of the folding-and-nesting process in a perspective view, in which the top lid 6 is pivoted to abut against the second side panel 3, preferably pivoted down to abut against an inner side of the second side panel 3 after releasing the second connector 12 from the first side panel 2, and the bottom panel 7 is pivoted upwardly to abut against the inner side of the second side panel 3 after releasing the first connector 10 from the first side panel 2.
Fig.8 shows a second step of the folding-and-nesting process in a different perspective view, in which a portion of the first side panel 2 adjacent to the first door 4 is pushed inward to pivot the first side panel 2 around a fourth axis so as to abut against an outer side of the bottom chassis 8 and a portion of the second side panel 3 adjacent to the first door 4 is pushed inward to pivot the second side panel 3 around a fifth axis so as to abut against an opposite outer side of the bottom chassis 8, thereby causing the fully closeable roll cage 1 to assume in a
11642603_1 (GHMatters) P111903.AU
2019226122 02 Sep 2019 ready-for-nesting state, for example a “A”-shape. In this case, a plurality of fully closeable roll cage 1 can be nested together, which will significantly save storage space.
It may be understood by the skilled person in the art that the present invention is not limited to the above description. In particular, the interlocking mechanism and/or the additional locking mechanism can be embodied in different ways, as long as the fully closeable roll cage can be locked completely with only one lock. For example, the interlocking mechanism even can be embodied via some interlocking structures disposed on the bottom panel instead of the top lid.
While certain embodiments have been described, these embodiments have been presented by way of example only, and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The attached claims and their equivalents are intended to cover all the modifications, substitutions and changes as would fall within the scope and spirit of the invention.
In the claims which follow and in the preceding description of the invention, except where the context requires otherwise due to express language or necessary implication, the word “comprise” or variations such as “comprises” or “comprising” is used in an inclusive sense, i.e. to specify the presence of the stated features but not to preclude the presence or addition of further features in various embodiments of the invention.
It is to be understood that, if any prior art publication is referred to herein, such reference does not constitute an admission that the publication forms a part of the common general knowledge in the art, in Australia or any other country.
