DESCRIPTION
LOW-COST LATHE TOOLING
Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a low-cost lathe tooling.
Background of the Invention
In the prior art, usually, a workpiece is directly fixed on a positioning core of a tapered mandrel. However, since the positioning core at an end of the tapered mandrel will be worn out after long-term use, the whole tapered mandrel needs to be replaced and the cost is thus high.
Summary of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to provide a low-cost lathe tooling. For this purpose, the present invention employs the following technical solutions: a low-cost lathe tooling is provided, including a tapered mandrel, wherein one end of the tapered mandrel is coaxially fixed with a lathe spindle, while a mandrel boss is formed at the other end of the tapered mandrel; a positioning core is detachably fixed on an end face of the mandrel boss; the positioning core includes a positioning core boss used for being fixed with the mandrel boss of the tapered mandrel and a positioning core shaft portion used for fixing a workpiece; the positioning core shaft portion of the positioning core and the tapered mandrel are arranged coaxially; and, several first fixed holes and/or several positioning holes corresponding to each other are formed on the positioning core boss and the mandrel boss, with first fasteners being fitted within the first fixed holes and positioning pins being fitted within the positioning holes; a positioning bulge is formed on the mandrel boss of the tapered mandrel, and a positioning groove for fitting the positioning boss is formed on the positioning core boss of the positioning core. With such an 1 2017100744 15 Jun2017 arrangement, the tapered mandrel and the positioning core are fixed more stably, and it is more convenient for positioning .Moreover, since the positioning groove is provided on the positioning core, the size of the material required for the positioning core may be reduced, and the cost of the positioning core may be reduced.
In the present invention, since the tapered mandrel and the positioning core are two independent parts, only the positioning core needs to be replaced after the positioning core is worn out, without replacing the tapered mandrel, so that the usage cost is reduced .Wherein, the positioning pins are used for positioning the tapered mandrel and the positioning pins, and the first fasteners are used for fixing the tapered mandrel and the positioning pins. The number of the first fasteners and the positioning pins may be selected as needed.
The present invention has the advantages of convenient maintenance and replacement of the positioning core and low cost for maintenance and replacement.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Fig. 1 is a structural diagram of the present invention;

Fig. 3 is a structural diagram of a positioning core of the present invention.
Detailed Description of the Invention
The present invention will be further described below by specific embodiments with reference to accompanying drawings.
As shown in Figs. 1,2 and 3, the present invention provides a lathe tooling, including a tapered mandrel 1, wherein one end of the tapered mandrel 1 is coaxially fixed with a lathe spindle, while a mandrel boss 11 is formed at the other end of the tapered mandrel 1; a positioning core 2 is detachably fixed on 1 2017100744 15 Jun2017 an end face of the mandrel boss 11; the positioning core 2 includes a positioning core boss 21 used for being fixed with the mandrel boss 11 of the tapered mandrel 1 and a positioning core shaft portion 22 used for fixing a workpiece 7; and, the positioning core shaft portion 22 of the positioning core 2 and the tapered mandrel 1 are arranged coaxially.
One first fixed hole 3 and two positioning holes 4 corresponding to each other are formed on both the positioning core boss 21 and the mandrel boss 11. Three holes consisting of the two positioning holes 4 and the one first fixed hole 3 are annularly and uniformly arranged at intervals around an axis of the tapered mandrel 1. A first fastener 31 is fitted within the first fixed hole 3, and positioning pins 41 are fitted within the positioning holes 4. There are two positioning pins 41 and one first fastener 31. The positioning core 2 and the tapered mandrel 1 are fixed to confine the positioning pins 41 between the positioning core boss 21 of the positioning core 2 and the mandrel boss 11 of the tapered mandrel 1. Both ends of the positioning pins 41 are closely fitted within two respective positioning holes 4. An end face of the positioning core boss 21 resists against an end face of the mandrel boss 11. A positioning bulge 12 is formed on the mandrel boss 11 of the tapered mandrel 1, and a positioning groove 23 for fitting the positioning boss 12 is formed on the positioning core boss 12 of the positioning core 2. A flange plate 5 is fixed on the mandrel boss 11 of the tapered mandrel 1 through several second fasteners 11, and three second fixed holes corresponding to each other are formed on the flange plate 5 and the mandrel boss 11. The three second fixed holes are annularly and uniformly arranged around the axis of the tapered mandrel 1.
In the present invention, since the tapered mandrel and the positioning core are two independent parts, only the positioning core needs to be replaced after the positioning core is worn out, without replacing the tapered mandrel, so that the usage cost is reduced, and the cost for replacement and maintenance of the positioning core is lower. 3
