Abstract

A rod mounting device for a boring machine according to the present invention comprises: a lid having a head portion installed to be able to slide, the head portion having a driving shaft for boring; a body frame, on which the lid is installed, and which has a rod insertion hole for boring formed on a center axis perpendicular to the driving shaft of the head portion; a rod clamp unit installed on the lower side of the lid to be able to slide in order to grasp a rod and to couple the same to the driving shaft of the head portion or to separate the same therefrom; a rod supply/recovery unit installed on a support frame, which is installed on a periphery of the rod insertion hole of the body frame, so as to grasp an end of a rod, to maintain the same in a vertical state from a horizontal state or in a horizontal state from a vertical state, and to supply the rod to the rod clamp unit; and a rod supply unit comprising a rod containing portion installed on one side of the body frame to contain the multiple rods, a rod elevating portion for lifting one of the rods contained in the rod containing portion in a horizontal state and transferring the same to a side corresponding to a grasping portion of the rod supply/recovery unit, a rod transfer portion for transferring the rod, which has been lifted by the rod elevating portion, to the grasping portion, and an auxiliary rotating portion for guiding the rod supply/recovery unit in the process of raising the rod to an upright position.

Description

ROD MOUNTING DEVICE FOR BORING MACHINE [Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a rod mounting device for a boring machine, and more particularly, to a rod mounting device for a boring machine, which is capable of supplying and recovering rods to and from a driving shaft of a head portion in a process of performing a drilling or boring operation.
[Background Art]
Generally, a boring machine configured to bore a deep hole in underground for a drilling operation, soil inspection, groundwater development, and the like performs a boring operation while coupling and separating a main rod, on which a hammer or a bit for boring a hole is installed and which is configured to perform the boring operation, to and from a driving shaft of a head portion by a rod.
Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1679789 discloses a rod supply device for a boring machine which supplies a rod in a process of performing a boring operation.
The disclosed rod supply device for a boring machine is moved to a work site in a state in which a boring drill rod is mounted on a boring machine, and has a structure for raising the boring drill rod, which is horizontally mounted thereon, to an upright position by a boring drill rod clamp portion to supply the boring drill rod to a boring drill lid portion of a body of the boring machine.
Further, Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1524072 discloses a rod mounting device for a boring machine. The disclosed rod mounting device is provided with a rod cartridge portion horizontally installed on an upper surface of a body of a boring machine and on which a plurality of rods are loaded, and a rod handler portion installed in front of a lower side of the rod cartridge portion to be spaced a predetermined distance therefrom and configured to grasp and rotate an end portion of a rod delivered from the rod cartridge portion.
The rod mounting device for a boring machine has problems in that it is difficult to precisely align a rotating axis of a head portion and a coupling portion of a rod, and, since rods are supplied in a state of being loaded on the rod cartridge portion, interference occurs between the rods to hinder a smooth supply thereof.
A drill rod handler is disclosed in WO 2007/115375 Al.
Therefore, it is an objective of the present invention to provide a rod mounting device for a boring machine which is capable of improving work efficiency of a boring machine by reducing man-hours of work for supply and coupling operations of rods to a driving shaft of a head portion of the boring machine and for separation and recovery operations of the rods from the driving shaft thereof.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a rod mounting device for a boring machine which is capable of preventing deformation of a rod that is supplied thereto and separated therefrom and improving an alignment characteristic while a head portion of the rod is coupled to a driving shaft thereof.
To resolve the above-described problems, a rod mounting device for a boring machine according to the present invention, including a lid on which a head portion having a driving shaft for boring is slidably installed; a body frame on which the lid is installed and having a rod insertion hole for boring formed on a central axial line perpendicular to a driving shaft of the head portion; a rod clamp unit slidably installed on a lower side of the lid and configured to grasp a rod and couple and separate the rod to and from the driving shaft of the head portion; a rod supply/recovery unit installed on a support frame provided at an edge of the rod insertion hole of the body frame and configured to grasp an end portion of the rod, maintain the rod from a horizontal state to a vertical state or from the vertical state to the horizontal state, and supply the rod to the rod clamp unit; and a rod supply unit provided with a rod containing portion installed on one side of the body frame and configured to contain a plurality of rods; a rod elevating portion configured to lift one of the plurality of rods, which are contained in the rod containing portion, in the horizontal state and transfer the rod lifted by the rod elevating portion, to a side corresponding to a grasping portion of the rod supply/recovery unit; a rod transfer portion configured to transfer the rod lifted by the rod elevating portion to the grasping portion; and an auxiliary rotating portion configured to guide the rod to be vertically raised by the rod supply/recovery unit.
In the present invention, the rod clamp unit includes a clamp housing liftably installed on the lid and at which an installation space, which has an opening portion provided at a line coaxially passing through the driving shaft of the head portion, is formed; at least one pair of jaw units installed on the clamp housing, configured to grasp a rod coupled to the driving shaft of the head portion, and moved forward and backward by a third actuator; and a hydraulic cylinder installed at the clamp housing and the jaw unit and configured to rotate the jaw unit with respect to the clamp housing. The rod mounting device for a boring machine is further provided with a position setting unit installed on an upper surface of the clamp housing and configured to coaxially match the rod inserted into the installation space by the rod supply/recovery unit to a central axis perpendicular to the driving shaft of the head portion.
The rod supply/recovery unit is provided with a base member installed at an edge of the lod insertion hole of the body frame and rotatably installed on a support frame, a rotating member hinge-coupled to one side of the base member and configured to grasp and rotate the end portion of the rod coupled to or separated from the driving shaft, a grasping portion installed on the rotating member and configured to clamp the end portion of the rod, a sixth actuator installed on the base member and configured to rotate the rotating member in a direction in which the rod is vertically raised or horizontally laid, and a driving portion configured to rotate the base member installed on the support frame, and the grasping portion is provided with a fixing jaw installed on an upper surface of the rotating member, a moving jaw rotatably installed on the fixing jaw, and a seventh actuator installed on the rotating member and the moving jaw and configured to rotate the moving jaw with respect to the fixing jaw.
The rod elevating portion includes first and second guide roads installed at a front side of the grasping portion in parallel with each other, first and second racks respectively installed at front sides of the first and second guide roads, first and second elevating members respectively lifted along the first and second guide roads, first and second pinions installed on the first and second elevating members and engaged with the first and second racks, and a pinion driving portion configured to drive the first and second pinions, the first and second elevating members are provided with first and second forward/backward movement members that are installed to be simultaneously movable forward and backward by ninth and tenth actuators, the first elevating member is provided with the rod elevating portion configured to lift the rod in the horizontal state and transfer the rod to the side corresponding to the grasping portion of the rod supply/recovery unit, and the second elevating member is provided with the auxiliary rotating portion configured to guide the rod to be vertically raised by the rod supply/recovery unit.
The auxiliary rotating portion is configured such that a rod rotating member is rotatably supported by a hinge shaft and is configured to assist the rod to be vertically raised by the rod supply/recovery unit at an end portion of the second elevating member, an eleventh actuator is installed on a support bracket fixed at a lower portion of the second elevating member and is configured to rotate the rod rotating member, and a rod guide member is installed on an end portion of the rod rotating member and is provided with a recess configured to support the rod.
The rod mounting device for a boring machine according to the present invention can rotate an end portion of a rod while grasping the end portion of the rod to couple the rod to a driving shaft and separate the rod from the driving shaft, thereby reducing man-hours of work for coupling and separating operations of the rod, and further maximizing efficiency of a boring operation. In addition, since a rod supported by a rod supply unit can be directly rotated, a separate crane is not required, and specifically, separate equipment for alignment is not required when an end portion of a rod which is vertically raised is coupled to the driving shaft.

[Detailed Description of Drawings]
A rod mounting device for a boring machine according to the present invention relates to a rod mounting device for a boring machine which is configured to supply and recover rods which are continuously connected thereto or separated therefrom according to a boring depth while performing a boring operation, and an embodiment of the rod mounting device for a boring machine is shown in FIGS. 1 to 6.
Referring to the drawings, a rod mounting device 10 for a boring machine according to the present invention is provided with a lid 320 on which a head portion 310 having a driving shaft 311 for boring is slidably installed, a body frame 300 on which the lid 320 is installed and having a rod insertion hole 330 formed on a line coaxially passing through a central axis perpendicular to the driving shaft 311, a rod clamp unit 20 installed on a lower side of the lid 320 and configured to grasp a rod 11 and couple and separate the rod 11 to and from the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310, and a position setting unit 30 installed on an upper surface of a clamp housing 24 of the rod clamp unit 20 and configured to set a vertical state of the rod 11 to couple the rod 11 to the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310. Further, the rod mounting device 10 for a boring machine is provided with a rod supply/recovery unit 50 installed on a support frame 51, which is provided at an edge of the rod insertion hole 330 of the body frame 300, and configured to grasp an end portion of the rod 11, maintain the rod 11 in the vertical state or a horizontal state, and supply the rod 11 to the rod clamp unit 20 located vertically below the driving shaft 311 of the head portion. Also, the rod mounting device 10 for a boring machine includes a rod supply unit 100 which is provided with a rod containing portion 110 installed on one side of the body frame 300 and configured to contain a plurality of rods 11; a rod elevating portion 120 configured to lift one of the plurality of rods 11 contained in the rod containing portion 110 in the horizontal state and transfer the lifted rod 11 to a side corresponding to a grasping portion 60 of the rod supply/recovery unit 50; a rod transfer portion 140 configured to transfer the rod 11 lifted by the rod elevating portion 120 to the grasping portion 60 of the rod supply/recovery unit 50, and an auxiliary rotating portion 150 configured to guide each of the plurality of rods 11 to be vertically raised by the grasping portion 60 of the supply/recovery unit 50.
The rod mounting device for a boring machine according to the present invention which is configured as described above will be described below in more detail with respect to each component.
The body frame 300 may be modified according to the ground at a position to be bored, and a lower surface of the body frame 300 may be configured with a separate steel structure such that the lid 320 may be installed at a predetermined height from the ground. Further, although not shown in the drawing, the head portion 310 having the driving shaft 311 is lifted by a separate elevating device, and the driving shaft 311 is structured to be rotated in forward and reverse directions by a hydraulic motor. Further, a helical coupling portion is formed at an end side of the driving shaft 311 to be coupled to the rod 11.
The rod clamp unit 20 is lifted along the lid 320 by a hydraulic cylinder that is a first actuator 21 and is provided with the clamp housing 24 at which an installation space 23, which has an opening portion 22 provided at a line coaxially passing through the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310, is formed. At least one pair of first and second jaw units 25 and 26 are installed at the clamp housing 24 and are configured to grasp the rod 11 coupled to the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310 to be moved forward and backward by a second actuator (not shown). The first and second jaw units 25 and 26 may be installed on upper and lower sides of the clamp housing 24. Further, the first jaw unit 25 is rotated with respect to the clamp housing 24 by a third actuator 27 installed on the clamp housing 24.
Further, the position setting unit 30 is installed on the upper surface of the clamp housing 24 and has a structure in which the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310 and the rod clamp unit 20 or the rod 11 supported by the rod supply/recovery unit 50 are disposed on parallel axial lines.
The position setting unit 30 is installed on both sides of the installation space 23 of the clamp housing 24 and includes first and second grasping members 33 and 34, which are each rotatably installed on first and second brackets 31 and 32 formed on the upper surface of the clamp housing 24 and have an end portion configured to grasp an outer circumferential surface of the rod 11 when rotating, and fourth and fifth actuators 36 and 37, which are each installed on the first and second brackets 31 and 32 and configured to rotate the first and second grasping members 33 and 34. The position setting unit 30 is not limited to the above-described embodiment and may employ a structure capable of grasping a lower side of the rod 11 and matching end portions of the driving shaft 311 and the rod 11 to each other.
The rod supply/recovery unit 50 has been developed by the inventor of the present disclosure and patented (Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1210589), and is shown in FIGS. 1 and 3.
Referring to the drawings, the rod supply/recovery unit 50 is provided with a base member 52 installed at an edge of the rod insertion hole 330 of the body frame 300 and rotatably installed on the support frame 51, a rotating member 54 hinge-coupled to one side of the base member 52 and configured to grasp and rotate the end portion of the rod 11 coupled to or separated from the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310, the grasping portion 60 installed on the rotating member 54 and configured to clamp the end portion of the rod 11, a sixth actuator 55 installed on the base member 52 and configured to rotate the rotating member 54 in a direction in which the rod 11 is vertically raised or horizontally laid, and a driving portion configured to rotate the base member 52 installed on the support frame 51. The driving portion may be configured with a rotating shaft installed on the base member 52 of the support frame 51, and a hydraulic motor or a seventh actuator (not shown) configured to rotate the rotating shaft 52a. The seventh actuator may preferably employ a hydraulic cylinder.
The grasping portion 60 is provided with a fixing jaw 61 installed on an upper surface of the rotating member 54, a moving jaw 62 rotatably installed on the fixing jaw 61, and a hydraulic cylinder, which is an eighth actuator 64, installed at the rotating member 54 and the moving jaw 62 and configured to rotate the moving jaw 62 with respect to the fixing jaw 61.
Further, the rod supply unit 100 is configured to recover a rod supplied to be coupled to the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310 and a rod separated from the driving shaft 311, and, as shown in FIG. 2, the rod containing portion 110 has a structure in which first and second support rods 111 and 112 are each installed close to the body frame 300 and inclined toward a front side of the rod containing portion 110 to support both sides of each of the plurality of rods 11 to contain the plurality of rods 11 in a state in which the plurality of rods 11 are parallel to each other and in close contact, and a guide portion 113 is installed at the first support rod 111 to align the end portions of the plurality of rods 11 in an inclination direction of the rod containing portion 110. Height adjustment portions 114 and 115 are further provided at a rear end side of each of the first and second support rods 111 and 112 to adjust heights thereof.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 2, 5, and 6, the rod elevating portion 120 configuring the rod supply unit 100 is configured such that first and second guide roads 121 and 122 which are parallel to each other are vertically installed at a front side of the rod containing portion 110, and first and second elevating members 123 and 124 are respectively installed at the first and second guide roads 121 and 122 and lifted therealong. Further, an elevation driving portion 126 is installed at each of the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 to elevate the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 along the first and second guide roads 121 and 122, and the elevation driving portion 126 is provided with first and second racks 126a and 126b respectively installed at front sides of the first and second guide roads 121 and 122, first and second pinions 126c and 126d respectively provided at the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 and engaged with the first and second racks 126a and 126b, and a pinion driving portion 126e configured to drive the first and second pinions 126c and 126d. The pinion driving portion 126e may include a hydraulic motor, and driving shafts of the first and second pinions 126c and 126d may be connected by a coupling shaft to simultaneously drive the first and second pinions 126c and 126d. The elevation driving portion 126 is not limited to the above-described embodiment and may be configured with a hydraulic cylinder, a chain block, or the like.
A first forward/backward movement member 128, which is moved forward and backward by a ninth actuator 127 provided at the first elevating member 123, is installed at the first elevating member 123, and a second forward/backward movement member 130, which is moved forward and backward by a tenth actuator 129 provided at the second elevating member 124, is installed at the second elevating member 124. Rod support members 131 and 132 are installed on upper surfaces of the first and second forward/backward movement members 128 and 130 to support the rod 11.
Further, the rod transfer portion 140 is installed at the first elevating member 123 to transfer the rod 11 supported by the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 to the grasping portion 60 of the rod supply/recovery unit 50 in the horizontal state. The auxiliary rotating portion 150 is installed at the second elevating member 124 to assist the rod 11 to be vertically raised by the rod supply/recovery unit 50.
In the rod transfer portion 140, a push rod 142 having a push plate 141 installed an end portion thereof is slidably installed on the first forward/backward movement member 128, and the push rod 132 is moved forward and backward by a rodless cylinder (not shown) that is installed inside the push rod 132. However, the present invention is not limited to the described above and may be configured with a pinion, which is rotated by a hydraulic cylinder or a drive motor, and a rack installed on the push rod and engaged with the pinion.
The auxiliary rotating portion 150 is configured such that a rod rotating member 151 is rotatably supported by a hinge shaft to assist the rod 11 to be vertically raised by the rod supply/recovery unit 50 at an end portion of the second elevating member 124, an eleventh actuator 153 is installed on a support bracket 152 fixed to a lower portion of the second elevating member 124, and a rod of the eleventh actuator 153 is hinge-coupled to a lower end portion of the rod rotating member 151. Further, a rod guide member 154 having a recess and configured to support the rod is installed at the rod rotating member 151.
An operation of the rod mounting device for a boring machine according to the present invention which is configured as described above will be described below.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 7, the grasping portion 60 of the rod supply/recovery unit 50 is installed on the body frame 300 to be able to supply the rod 11 to a front side of a boring machine in the horizontal state.
In this state, the pinion driving portion 126e of the elevation driving portion 126 of the rod supply unit 100 is operated to simultaneously lower the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 installed at the first and second guide roads 121 and 122. In a state in which the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 are positioned below the rod 11 supported by the rod containing portion 110, the ninth actuator 127 and the tenth actuator 129 are manipulated to move each of the first and second forward/backward movement members 128 and 130 forward from the first and second elevating members 123 and 124.
In this state, the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 are lifted by the elevation driving portion 126. In this way, the rod is horizontally laid on the first and second rod support members 131 and 132 installed on the upper surfaces of the first and second elevating members 123 and 124. In this state, the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 are lifted while the first and second forward and backward movement members 128 and 130 are moved backward.
In this state, the rod 11 supported by the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 is lifted to a height equal to that of the grasping portion 60 of the rod supply/recovery unit 50 while maintaining the horizontal state. During the above-described process, the grasping portion 60 is rotated by the sixth actuator 55 so that the rotating member 54 is rotated to direct an inlet to face the front side and the moving jaw 62 is opened with respect to the fixing jaw 61 by the eighth actuator 64.
Further, the rod 11 lifted by the first and second elevating members 123 and 124 in the horizontal state is moved by the push plate 141 installed at the end portion of the push rod
142 as the push rod 142 of the rod transfer portion 140 is moved to the grasping portion 60. Accordingly, a front end portion of the moved rod 11 is inserted into the grasping portion 60.
As described above, when the front end portion of the rod 11 is inserted into the grasping portion 60 by the rod 11 being moved in a horizontal direction, the push rod 142 is moved backward. Further, the moving jaw 62 of the grasping portion 60 is closed by the seventh actuator to grasp the end portion of the rod 11, and, as shown in FIG. 8, the rotating member 54 of the rod supply/recovery unit 50 is rotated by the sixth actuator 55, and thus the rod 11 is rotated to the vertical state. At this point, the auxiliary rotating portion 150 is operated to assist the rotation of the rod 11. That is, the eleventh actuator 153 installed on the second elevating member 124 is operated to rotate the rod rotating member 141, thereby lifting the rod supported by the grasping portion 60.
As described above, when the rod 11 is vertically raised by the rod supply/recovery unit 50 from the horizontal state to the vertical state, as shown in FIG. 9, the base member 52 installed on the support frame 51 is rotated by the driving portion, and thus the rod 11 is inserted through the opening portion 22 to be positioned in the installation space 23.
In this state, the first and second grasping members 33 and 34 of the position setting unit 30 are aligned to be positioned at a line coaxially passing through the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310 by the fourth and fifth actuators 36 and 37. As described above, when the alignment of the rod 11 is completed, the head portion 310 is lowered, and then the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310 is screw-coupled with an upper end portion of the vertically raised rod 11 (See, FIG. 10).
When the coupling of the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310 and the upper end portion of the rod 11 is completed, a grasped state of the lower end portion of the rod 11 is released by the grasping portion 60, and the head portion 310 rises to lift the rod 11. When the rod 11 coupled to the driving shaft 311 is lifted by the head portion 310, the base member of the rod supply/recovery unit 50 is rotated to maintain an initial state thereof, and thus the rod is supplied by the above-described method.
Although not shown in the drawing, the rod 11 supported by the driving shaft 311 of the head portion 310 is supported by the clamp unit to be coupled to a rod that is performing a boring operation. Further, recovery of the rod is reversely performed with respect to the supplying of the rod.
As described above, since the rod mounting device for a boring machine according to the present invention can automatically supply and recover a rod, man-hours of work for 10 supplying and recovering a rod can be significantly reduced and work efficiency of the boring machine can be dramatically improved.
While the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings, these embodiments are merely illustrative and it should be understood that various modifications and equivalent embodiments can be derived by those skilled in the 15 art on the basis of the embodiments.

Claims (5)

  1. [Claim 1]
    A rod mounting device for a boring machine, comprising:
    a lid on which a head portion having a driving shaft for boring is slidably installed;
    5 a body frame on which the lid is installed and having a rod insertion hole for boring formed on a central axial line perpendicular to the driving shaft of the head portion;
    a rod clamp unit slidably installed on a lower side of the lid and configured to grasp a rod and couple and separate the rod to and from the driving shaft of the head portion;
    a rod supply/recovery unit installed on a support frame provided at an edge of the rod
    0 insertion hole of the body frame and configured to grasp an end portion of the rod, maintain the rod from a horizontal state to a vertical state or from the vertical state to the horizontal state, and supply the rod to the rod clamp unit; and a rod supply unit provided with a rod containing portion installed on one side of the body frame and configured to contain a plurality of rods; a rod elevating portion configured to
    5 lift one of the plurality of rods, which are contained in the rod containing portion, in the horizontal state and transfer the lifted rod to a side corresponding to a grasping portion of the rod supply/recovery unit; a rod transfer portion configured to transfer the rod lifted by the rod elevating portion to the grasping portion; and an auxiliary rotating portion configured to guide the rod to be vertically raised by the rod supply/recovery unit,

    The rod mounting device of claim 1, wherein the rod clamp unit includes a clamp housing liftably installed on the lid and at which an installation space, which has an opening portion provided at a line coaxially passing through the driving shaft of the head portion, is 0 formed; at least one pair of jaw units installed on the clamp housing, configured to grasp a rod coupled to the driving shaft of the head portion, and moved forward and backward by a third actuator; and the third actuator installed at the clamp housing and the jaw unit and configured to rotate the jaw unit with respect to the clamp housing.

    5 The rod mounting device of claim 2, further comprising a position setting unit installed on an upper surface of the clamp housing and configured to coaxially vertically match the rod inserted into the installation space by the rod supply/recovery unit to a central axis to the driving shaft of the head portion, wherein the position setting unit includes first and second grasping members
    20 respectively rotated by first and second brackets on both sides of the installation space of the clamp housing and configured to grasp a lower portion of the rod, and fourth and fifth actuators installed on the first and second brackets and configured to rotate the first and second grasping members.
