A Substance and/or Mixture (Liquid or Solid) for Cosmetic Hair, Skin or Teeth Lightening usage (including but not limited to Soaps, Body and Facial Washes, Body and Facial Scrubs, Shampoos, Conditioners, Hair Colourants, Toothpastes, Makeups etc) comprising two or more of the following Botanical extracts: Honey, Lemon, Cinnamon, Olive Oil and Grapefruit Seed Extract (including all Derivatives).

Description

1 BOTANICAL EXTRACT HAIR, SKIN AND TEETH LIGHTENING COSMETICS FIELD OF THE INVENTION [0001] The invention relates to Cosmetic compounds for topical application. Consisting of active Botanical Extracts (synthetically or naturally derived from a plant or plant materials). The invention uses Botanical Extracts to improve the appearance and texture of hair, skin or teeth by assisting in the lightening of these areas. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0002] Botanical Plant Extracts and Plant Materials have consistently been used and shown to help improve the appearance and texture of hair, skin and teeth through topical application. [0003] Active Botanical extracts, derived from plant or plant materials have been used topically for medical and cosmetic purposes. These extracts are most commonly obtained from bark, root, seeds, leaves and stems. These 2 active extracts are combined into either a liquid or solid matter. [0004] Honey is made from bees, the bees use nectar from various flowers to produce the Honey. Nectar is usually 80% water and the rest being made up of complex sugars. [0005] Lemon and it's extracts are derived from a semitropical evergreen plant known as Citrus Limon. [0006] Cinnamon and it's extracts are derived primarily from the bark of a group of several trees known as Cinnamomum. The most common tress being Cinnamomum verum, Cinnamomum tamala or Cinnamomum iners. [0007] Olive Oil and it's extracts are derived from extracting the oil found in Olive drupes. [0008] Grapefruit Seed Extract is a liquid derived from the pulp, seeds and membranes of the grapefruit. The grapefruit is a subtropical citrus tree.
3 [0009] These extracts have not been used as active ingredients in a Cosmetic compound for the purpose of providing lightening to the hair, skin or teeth. [0010] Consumers are becoming aware of dangerous chemicals that are found in most cosmetics. With many consumers seeking alternatives and these alternatives being Botanical extracts. SUMMARY OF INVENTION [0011] The invention is to provide a Cosmetic compound with specific active Botanical Extracts. [0012] The Cosmetic compound would provide a basis for lightening hair, skin or teeth. [0013] The Cosmetic compound would provide a basis for improving the appearance and texture of hair, skin or teeth with the compound consisting of specific active Botanical Extracts. [0014] The Cosmetic compound would be suitable for topical application to the hair, skin or teeth.
4 [0015] The advantages of this invention is by providing Cosmetic compounds for improving the appearance and texture of hair, skin and teeth by assisting in the lightening of these areas. [0016] The invention will provide a method of lightening hair, skin or teeth by topically applying a Cosmetic compound to these areas. With the Cosmetic compound consisting of at least two extracts from the following group of Botanical materials: Honey or Honey Derivatives, Lemon or Lemon Derivatives, Cinnamon or Cinnamon Derivatives, Olive Oil or Olive Oil Derivatives, Grapefruit Seed Extract or Grapefruit Seed Derivatives. [0017] This invention relates to the combination of Botanical ingredients and extracts to form either a liquid or solid. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [0018] The invention provides a Cosmetic compound (either Liquid or Solid) for lightening the hair, skin or teeth. The Cosmetic compound would ideally be for topical 5 application to the hair, skin or teeth. The compound would assist in the lightening of hair, skin or teeth. The compound would also assist in the appearance and texture of the hair, skin and teeth. [0019] The Cosmetic compound would contain two or more of the following active Botanical extracts as ingredients: Honey, Lemon, Cinnamon, Olive Oil and Grapefruit Seed or any combinations of these. These individual extracts have been shown to assist with lightening of the hair, skin and teeth. [0020] The benefits of the invention include providing a Cosmetic compound containing Botanical extracts to assist in the lightening of hair, skin or teeth. The Cosmetic compound would improve the appearance and texture of hair, skin and teeth through lightening. [0021] The invention is to be topically applied as a Cosmetic compound. The invention (along with all Cosmetic or Dermatological product) contains ingredients that can produce skin irritation, numbing, flaking, burning, tingling or redness as a side effect (or any number of these combinations) and this varies between individuals. Hence 6 individuals would need to limit exposure to heat, cold, wind and pollutants whilst using the Cosmetic compound to reduce unwanted side effects. [0022] The invention will not contain active agents widely known in the Cosmetic or Dermatological fields to increase irritation. Examples of these are (but not limited to): Retinoids, Vitamin D, Hydroquinone, Colourants, Lithium Salts, Aluminium Salts, Para-phenylenediamine (PPD), Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Sodium Laureth Sulphate and Propyl Glycol. [0023] The invention will require a carrier to be effective as a Cosmetic compound. The carrier could include (but not limited to) vegetable oils, water, alcohols (including fatty alcohols), Chlorides, lye or any combinations thereof. [0024] The invention may need to include a variety of antimicrobial, antioxidant, antifungal, anti-allergenic, antiseptic, emulsifier ingredients or combinations to ensure safety when used as a Cosmetic compound. This is usually preferable in an amount of at least 2% to the weight of the compound.
7 [0025] The invention is designed to be able to produce a wide variety of products to assist in the lightening of hair, skin and teeth. Some examples (not limited to) of these products are: Soaps, Body and Facial washes, Body and Facial scrubs, Shampoos, Conditioners, Hair Colourants, Hair Mousses/Gels/Sprays, Toothpastes and Makeups.

Claims (11)

1. A Cosmetic compound (Liquid or Solid) topically applied to hair, skin or teeth to lighten these areas. This Cosmetic compound to contain active Botanical extracts from the group of Honey, Lemon, Cinnamon, Olive Oil and Grapefruit Seed.
2. Further to claim 1, wherein the Cosmetic compound includes a carrier where at least two extracts are present in an amount of 0.00 1% to 90% based on the total weight of the compound.
3. Further to claims 1 to 2, wherein at least one extract is Honey or Honey Derivatives.
4. Further to claims 1 to 3, wherein at least one extract is Lemon or Lemon Derivatives.
5. Further to claims 1 to 4, wherein at least one extract is Cinnamon or Cinnamon Derivatives.
6. Further to claims 1 to 5, wherein at least one extract is Olive Oil or Derivatives. 2
7. Further to claims 1 to 6, wherein at least one extract is Grapefruit or Derivatives.
8. Further to claims 1 to 7, wherein a Cosmetic compound is applied to the hair, skin or teeth.
9. Further to claims 1 to 8, wherein there is an improvement in hair, skin or teeth appearance or texture.
10. Further to claims 1 to 9, wherein there is a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles.
11. The topical application of a Cosmetic compound which includes an effective amount of at least two active Botanical extracts from a group comprising of Honey (and all Honey Derivatives), Lemon (and all Lemon Derivatives), Cinnamon (and all Cinnamon Derivatives), Olive Oil (and all Derivatives) and Grapefruit Seed Extract (and all Derivatives) or any combination, for lightening of the hair, skin or teeth.
