Description

Ejector unit and furniture The present invention relates to an ejector unit of a furniture part, which is mounted so it is movable on a furniture body, according to the preamble of Claim 1 and a piece of furniture according to the preamble of Claim 6. Preferably, aluminum traverses are installed in the body of a piece of furniture, preferably on the rear wall, for situating an electro-motorized ejector device for moved furniture parts, such as drawers. These traverses allow a continuous vertical positioning of the ejector device, so that different embodiments of moved furniture parts, in particular drawers, may be retracted. The required voltage supply of the ejector devices is performed via a corresponding power supply unit, which is situated outside the furniture body. The previous ejector units have the disadvantage that the installation of such ejector units on a furniture part is very time-consuming and therefore also costly due to the manifold components. The object of the present invention is to provide an ejector unit of a furniture part mounted so it is movable on a furniture body, which can be installed rapidly and easily on a furniture part, in particular also can be retrofitted on an existing piece of furniture. This object is achieved by an ejector unit of a furniture part mounted so it is movable on a furniture body having the features of Claim 1 and by a piece of furniture having the features of Claim 6. Advantageous implementations of the invention are the subject matter of the subclaims. According to the invention, the ejector unit has a housing for the mutual housing of the ejector device and the power supply unit. The use of such an ejector unit as a single device is thus made possible in particular. In addition, such an ejector unit can be produced more cost-effectively than typical ejector units.
According to a special embodiment, the housing of the ejector unit is implemented having a plug device for attaching at least one further ejector element. A connection of the ejector unit to a further ejector device without a separate power supply unit is thus made possible using simple means. The further ejector devices may be synchronized via separate terminals, e.g., 1, 2, 3, if they are situated on the same horizontal plane. The piece of furniture according to the invention is characterized by an ejector unit, which is situated on the furniture body, according to one of Claims I to 5. A piece of furniture is thus provided with a cost-effective ejector unit, the ejector unit being able to be installed in a simple way in the piece of furniture and in particular also being able to be retrofitted in a piece of furniture without ejector units. According to a preferred embodiment variant, the ejector unit is fastened above a floor plate of the furniture body. A piece of furniture are provided with an ejector unit is thus provided, whose floor plate can be situated arbitrarily close above the floor. According to an alternative embodiment variant, the housing part in which the power supply unit is situated is embedded in the floor plate of the furniture body. A minimization of the installation depth extending into the free space below the floor plate is thus made possible. With corresponding thickness of the floor plate, e.g., in the case of light construction plates, receiving the power supply unit without penetrating the lower cover layer of the floor plate is also conceivable. According to a further preferred aspect of the invention, the ejector unit is fastened on a carrier element which is horizontally situated on the back side of the furniture body. Such a carrier element is particularly lockable on a hole pattern in the side walls of the furniture body, so that the ejector unit is easily fastenable at different heights on the furniture body. Standard commercial hole patterns have 32 mm or 25 mm hole spacing, for example. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are described hereafter on the basis of the appended drawings. In the figures: Figures 1 to 3 show perspective views of exemplary embodiments of ejector units according to the invention, Figure 4 shows a perspective view of a furniture body having removed furniture part, which is mounted so it is movable on the furniture body, and an embodiment of the ejector unit situated in the furniture body, Figures 5 and 6 show various perspective views of a piece of furniture having a furniture part mounted so it is movable on the furniture body in different positions during an ejection procedure, Figure 7 shows a perspective view of an ejector unit, which is fastened on a horizontal carrier element, without power supply unit, Figure 8 shows a lateral sectional view of the configuration of ejector unit and carrier element shown in Figure 7, Figures 9 and 10 show an exploded view of the end parts of the carrier element for fastening on the side walls of the furniture body, and Figures 11 and 12 show perspective views of a carrier element, implemented as a telescoping rod, with and without ejector unit fastened thereon. In the following description of the figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc. exclusively relate to the exemplary illustration and position of the ejector unit, the piece of furniture, and other objects selected in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as restrictive, i.e., these references could change in various operating positions or through mirror-symmetric design or the like. As shown in Figures 1 to 3, an ejector unit 1 comprises a housing 2, in which an ejector device 3 having an ejector lever 4 is situated in a second housing part 13, as well as a power supply unit (not shown), which is housed in a first housing part 12, for the power supply of the ejector device 3, in particular an electric motor, which drives the ejector lever 4 of the ejector device 3. In the embodiment variant of the ejector unit 1 shown in Figures 1 to 3, the housing 2 of the ejector unit 1 is implemented in two parts. The power supply unit, as already mentioned, is housed in a first housing part 12, and the ejector device 3 is situated in a second housing part 13. In the embodiment variant of the ejector unit, a connection plate 14 which connects the housing parts 12, 13 to one another is situated between the first housing part 12, in which the power supply unit is housed, and the second housing part 13, in which the ejector device 3 is housed. This connection plate 14 covers the first housing part 12 in the direction of the second housing part 13 in the embodiment variant shown in Figures 1 to 3, and is thus used, inter alia, as a seal plate of the power supply unit housing 12, so that outflowing liquids cannot penetrate into the installation space of the power supply unit. The use of the ejector unit in furniture which is placed in direct proximity to water connections, for example, under a sink, is thus made possible. The ejector unit can particularly be used here for driving drawers for waste vessels and washing utensils. The connection plate 14 is connected via fasteners 31, e.g., screws, to the first housing part. In the embodiment variant shown in Figure 1, the ejector unit 1 is incorporated in a floor plate 7 of a furniture body 6, so that the connection plate 14 is situated parallel to the inner surface of the floor plate 7 of a furniture body 6. The width and/or depth dimensions of the connection plate 14 are dimensioned larger than the recess in the floor plate 7, so that the connection plate supports the ejector unit on the floor plate 7 and can be screwed onto the floor plate 7 via drilled holes (34) provided in the connection plate 14, for example. In the configuration shown in Figure 2, the first housing part 12 is situated lying parallel on the bottom surface of the floor plate 7 of the furniture body 6 and is connected through the floor plate 7 using fasteners 31, which pass through the floor plate, to the second housing part 12, in particular to the connection plate 14. Because of the friction-locked and/or formfitting connection to the floor plate 7 produced via the fasteners 31, the fastening via the drilled holes 34 can optionally even be omitted. In the configuration, as also in the other configurations in Figures 1 and 3, the electrical connection of the power supply unit to the ejector device 3 can be performed via at least two electrically conductive fasteners 31, which produce the electrical connection of contact paths (not shown) in the power supply unit to contact paths (not shown) in or on the connection plate 14. The contact paths (not shown) in or on the connection plate 14 are electrically connected to the ejector device via the second housing part 13. It is also possible to produce the electrical connection from the power supply unit to the ejector device 3 via cable 30 without contact paths and electrical conduction via the fasteners 3 1. The cable 30 can preferably be guided here, instead of through an additional drilled hole in the floor plate 7, adjacent to the fasteners 31 (not shown) through a passage which is larger in cross-section through the floor plate 7. Figure 3 shows the complete ejector unit 1 situated parallel to the inner surface of the floor plate 7, without the first housing part 12 penetrating into or through the floor plate 7. The fastening on the floor plate 7 via angle profiles (not shown) fastened on the drilled holes 34 is conceivable here, in order to retain only one embodiment variant of the ejector unit 1 according to the invention in the claimed configuration examples in Figures 1 to 3. A further embodiment variant of the ejector unit 1 is shown in Figure 4. The housing 2 encloses both the ejector device 3 and also the power supply unit in the form of an integrally formed housing 2 here. The ejector device is fastened in the area of a back side 10 of the furniture body 6 on a carrier element 5 which is situated horizontally there. The fastening of the ejector unit I on the carrier element 5 is preferably implemented in such a way that the ejector unit 1 is horizontally displaceable on the carrier element 5 and can then be fixed in the desired position. The housing 2 preferably has a plug device 29 for attaching at least one further ejector device 3, so that only one ejector unit 1 must be installed in a piece of furniture 15, which has a power supply unit, and the optional additional ejector devices can be supplied via a cable 30 via this power supply unit of the ejector unit 1. The additional ejector devices may be activated either via switching on the power supply unit current via cable 30 or via separately controlled terminals 32 using synchronous switching pulses if they are situated on the same plane. Figures 5 and 6 show, to illustrate an ejection procedure, a movable furniture part 16 attached in a piece of furniture 15 according to the invention, in the form of a drawer here, in various operating positions, the drawer 16 having been ejected by the ejector element 4 of the ejector device 3 by a specific distance out of the furniture body 6 in Figure 6.
Different variants of a carrier element 5 on which the ejector unit 1 is fastenable will be described in greater detail on the basis of Figures 7 to 12. Figures 7 to 10 show a first preferred variant of the carrier element 5. In this variant the carrier element 5 comprises a carrier bracket 33, which is C-shaped in cross-section, and end parts 17 situated frontally on both sides, as shown in Figures 7 and 8. The carrier element 5 is fastenable on the side walls 8, 9 of the furniture body 6 using the end parts 17. For this purpose, at least one connection pin 19 is situated on each of the end parts 17, which can be plugged into recesses 28 provided for this purpose on the side walls 8, 9 of the furniture body 6. These recesses 28 are preferably hole patterns which are typical in furniture walls, and which allow fastening of auxiliary elements easily in various positions. As shown in Figures 9 and 10, the carrier bracket 5 is implemented having a T-part 21 in its end area, which is insertable into a T-profile 23 on the end part 17. The connection pins 19 are situated on the side of the end part 17 opposite to the T-profile 23. Securing elements 18 are provided for secure fastening of the carrier bracket 5 on the end parts 17, the securing elements having a plate 24 and a web 25 which can be plugged into the T-profile 23 of the end parts 17 and preferably being able to be screwed together via recesses 20 in the securing elements 18 and recesses 22 in the end parts 17. The plate 24 of the securing element 18 closes the T-profile 23 of the end parts 17 toward the furniture body interior, while the opposite side of the T-profilc 23 of the end parts 17 presses against the rear wall 10 of the furniture body 6, so that the carrier bracket 5 is securely held on the end parts 17 after the fastening of the securing element 18. An alternative embodiment variant of the carrier element 5 is shown in Figures 11 and 12. It is implemented as a telescoping rod 26 here, which is held by mounts 27 on the side walls 8, 9 of the furniture body 6. One of the mounts 27 is preferably implemented having a polygonal profile, which, with a corresponding polygonal end part of the telescoping rod 26, prevents axial twisting of the telescoping rod 26. Through the use of a telescoping rod 26, only one type of carrier element is to be stored for equipping furniture of varying widths.
