TEM PLE PATENT SHEET #1.1 of 00
(N
Technical Field Disclosed is a system for the support of temporary power supplies to construction sites.
Background of Disclosure The current method of supplying temporary power to constuction sites,(other than underground),is in most cases via attachment to temporarary fencing.Workcover has now deemed this unacceptable.Currently timber or steel posts on concrete or on makeshift stands are the only option.
00 (S Summary of the Disclosure Disclosed is an adjustable re-useable system for the support of temporary cabling that can adapt to site requirements.
The system comprises of 2 (two) types of pole, with 3 (three) forms of adjustable arms, and 3 (three) bases for support requirements.
The first pole is a standard 180 degree pole with 2 (two) crossarms fixed to the upright pole at 90 degrees from the top.
The second is an adjustable pole with 1 (one) crossarm fixed to the upright pole at degees from the top, with 3(three) attachable arms, configured to lock into postion onto the pole. This is achieved via vertical slots on the arm sleeve, and lockin pins with retaining clips that secure arm sleeve to pole.
Each pole pole has 4 (four) holes at top at 90 degrees for catinery wire tensioning attachments.
Each pole has 4 (four) holes at 90 degees above top of crossarm for lockin pin and clip.
Each pole has 4 (four) holes at 90 degrees and centre above bottom to retain to baseplate attachments.
The first attachable arm is configured to lockin 2 (two) positions,180 degees and degrees, and is designed to attach to both types of pole. The standard pole can now have 3 (three) arms at 90 degees to top.On the adjustable pole the arm will lockin at degrees and 180 degrees from top.
The second attachable arm is configured to lockin to the adjustable pole at 45 degrees to sleeve.

The third attachable arm is a riser arm that extends vertically and attaches to both types of pole, with same sleeve pattern at base as the first attachment arm.
Each crossarm/arm has 2 (two) bendable brackets with slots for securing conduit via cable tie.
Each crossarm/arm is positioned to the front in relation to the pole. The attachable arms are welded to a sleeve which slides over pole and locks onto pole via lockin slots to crossarm and secures position with lockin pin and clip.
There are 3 (three) types of base.
The first is a sleeve that is concreted into the ground under finished ground level.
The second base is a sleeve with a solid baseplate,it has 4 (four) bracebars at degrees bracing sleeve to base and 4 (four) holes for fixing to solid surface.
The first and second bases have a pin above bottom interlock pole.
The third base is a sleeve which has 2 (two) threaded holes per side for leg attachment and 1 (one) hole for lockin pin.It has 4 (four) attachable legs, which tighten and lock onto the sleeve and is designed to fit in to shaped concrete blocks, specifically for carparks and bittumn areas.
