file:///hl/pamsApp/pdf/page12041032.txt IMPROVED STRUCTURE OF A LIGHT-EMITTING WHEEL COMPACT GENERATOR AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD Abstract The present invention improves the structure the light-emitting wheel compact generator by securing the armature coil assembly of the compact generator in order to stabilize the electromagnetic induction generated and transmitted to the LED lights under a great exposure to impact; it combines the light emitting device installation circuit board, which could be formed of a thin circular, semicircular, quadratic circular, or a smaller conductive plate and a plurality of light-emitting devices, and the armature coil assembly with thin protruding lead wires and their protruding guiding portion, into a newly design and improved compact generator coil assembly; this invention tolerates greater impact because it is more compacted.
Technical Field The present invention relates to an improved structure of a light-emitting wheel compact generator, and a manufacturing method of the improved compact generator. This present invention improves the stability of the electromagnetic induction generated and transmitted to the LED lights because it is more compacted to tolerant a great impact.
Background Art Various types of conventional technologies relating to a compact generator of light-emitting wheel have been suggested before.
One of latest conventional technologies relating to a compact generator of light-emitting wheel, which with an International Patent No. WO 01/11760 Al, discloses a compact generator of a light-emitting wheel and the manufacturing method.
The armature coil spool has an armature coil is with an armature coil assembly (Fig. 1 Old Armature Coil Assembly); in the armature coil assembly, covers formed of metal exhibiting superior magnetization alternating capability is formed to encompass the armature coil spool; Armature arms perpendicularly protrude from a surface of each cover and the armature arms of each of the file:///hl/pamsApp/pdf/page12041032.txt23/11/2005 1:33:10 AM file:///hl/pamsApp/pdf/page22041034.txt covers is arranged alternately.
Accordingly, each armature coil is alternately magnetized by different poles of the permanent magnet and magnetic flux flows perpendicular to the direction of coil windings. Thus, current is induced to the armature coil in the spool due to the electromagnetic induction. The armature coil assembly is fixedly molded with the wheel hub.
A protruding lead wire guiding portion (Fig. 1 Old Armature Coil Assembly) for guiding a lead wire of the armature coil to the outside is formed on the armature coil assembly.
However, this thin lead wire (Fig. 1 Old Armature Coil Assembly) is very easily damaged and curved when the light-emitting wheel hits the floor; the damage of the protruding lead wire stops the transmission of electromagnetic current to or from the LED lights because coil formed by the two thin lead wires is damaged on the armature assembly.
Short circuit could occur very easily due to the limited space of the tube in the wheel hub protruding lead wire guiding portion; the two parallel lead wires are very closely located and there is no device is between. (Fig. 1 Old Armature Coil Assembly), this high risk of short circuit contains potential danger to children and this could also affect the light-emitting functions of the wheel having said compact generator.
The light emitting device installation circuit board (Fig. 2 Old Circuit board), which could be formed of a thin circular, semicircular, quadratic circular, or a smaller conductive plate and a plurality of lightemitting devices, is installed at the inner edge of the most outside of the wheel hub; this circuit board is connected with the power source by the parallel lead wires (Fig. I Old Armature Coil Assembly) Summary of the Invention To solve the above problems, it is an objective of the present invention to improve the structure the lightemitting wheel compact generator by securing the armature coil assembly of the compact generator in order to stabilize the electromagnetic induction generated and transmitted to the LED lights under a file:///hl/pamsApp/pdf/page22041034.txt23/11/2005 1:33:33 AM file:///hl/pamsApp/pdf/page32041035.txt great exposure to impact.
To achieve the above objective, the present invention eliminates the protruding guide tube and the two lead wires; it combines the light emitting device installation circuit board, which could be formed of a thin circular, semicircular, quadratic circular, or a smaller conductive plate and a plurality of lightemitting devices, and (ii) the armature coil assembly with thin protruding lead wires and their protruding guiding portion, into a newly design and improved compact generator coil assembly (Fig.3 Armature Coil Assembly of Present Invention); this invention tolerates greater impact because it is more compacted.
Description of the drawings Fig. 1 Old Armature Coil Assembly is to demonstrate different views of a armature coil assembly, of a previous invented flashing wheel compact generator.
Fig. 2 Old Circuit Board is to demonstrate different views of a circuit board, of a previous invented flashing wheel compact generator.
Fig. 3 Compact Generator Assembly of the Present Invention is to demonstrate different views of the compact generator assembly, a major part of the present invention.
Fig. 4 Armature Coil Assembly of Present Invention Composition is to demonstrate the manufacturing steps of the present invention.
Composition of the Invention and the manufacturing method The manufacturing process of the compact generator coil assembly can be divided into three parts: Compact Generator Coil, Compact Generator Circuit Hub and Compact Generator Coil Assembly; The formation of the Compact Generator Coil (Fig. 4 Armature Coil Assembly of Present Invention Composition): Plastic Coil Ring with cannels for lead wire, To circle the Coil Ring with lead wire, and to cover the coil ring with armature arms.
file:///hl/pamsApp/pdf/page32041035.txt23/ 1/2005 1:33:51 AM file:///hl/pamsApp/pdf/page42041036.txt The formation of the Compact Generator Circuit Hub (Fig. 4 Armature Coil Assembly of Present Invention Composition): is a circuit board laminated with plastic wall so that a circuit hub is formed, feet of LED lights are being inserted into the pre-designed openings on the circuit hub, and to weld the LED lights tightly onto the circuit hub.
The formation of the Compact Generator Coil Assembly (Fig. 4 Armature Coil Assembly of Present Invention Composition): insert the compact generator coil into the compact generator circuit hub and to have the protruding lead wire inserted onto the pre-designed openings on the circuit hub, and to have the lead wire welded on the circuit hub, touching the current openings.
