Abstract

The present invention relates to a flushing device for internal flushing of tanks, preferably ship's tanks, wherein at least one pipe (9) for flushing liquid is rotatably mounted in the tank (2). The flushing-liquid pipe (9) has at least one flushing nozzle (10) which is pivotally mounted relative to the flushing-liquid pipe (9). A supply conduit (3) is provided to feed flushing liquid (S) to the flushing-liquid pipe (9) and through said pipe (9) to the flushing nozzle (10), which is adapted to direct jets (SS) of flushing liquid (S) towards the inner sides of the tank (2). The supply conduit (3) comprises a through-flow member (11), in which a through-flow passage (13) is provided for flowing through of flushing liquid (S). At least one by-pass passage (34) of a by-pass device (33) and a turbine wheel (14) are provided in said through-flow member (11). The flushing device (1) may also include a flow control device (36) for controlling the flow of flushing liquid therein.
