Abstract

The invention relates to a floor cleaning device (1) with a hood-type housing (2) that is open toward the bottom and closed at its sides and its top and with a spray arm (10) that can be rotated inside the housing about a vertical axis and that has at least one outlet (11) for a cleaning medium directed toward the open bottom of the housing. At least one passage (19, 22) is disposed in the top of the housing through which ambient air is sucked in to the interior of the housing. Said passages can be completely or partially closed so that the flow of ambient air sucked into the interior can be controlled.
