Abstract
The invention relates to a device for welding together conductors by ultrasonic welding, comprising a compacting room (18) that receives the conductors and that is delimited by working surfaces (20, 22, 24, 26) of tools (12, 14, 16). At least one of the tools (12, 14, 16) consists of a support (36, 38, 40) and, interlinked therewith, a working part (28, 30, 32, 34, 46) that comprises one of the working surfaces (20, 22, 24, 26). The aim of the invention is to allow a specific utilization of material for the working surfaces that interact with the conductors to be welded and to allow for the inexpensive production of tools that have a long tool life. To this end, the working part (28, 30, 32, 34, 46) comprising at least one working surface (20, 22, 24, 26) is joined with the support (36, 38, 40) by soldering, gluing, welding or shrinking.
