Abstract

The aim of the invention is to produce a sink unit, especially a kitchen sink unit, comprising at least one sink and at least one fittings support area for supporting at least one fitting, said sink unit enabling high flexibility in terms of the design of the sink and the fittings support area and being produced simply and with little effort in terms of technical equipment. In order to achieve this, the sink unit is at least partially produced by means of superplastic deformation, from a starting material.
