Abstract
The invention relates to a PTC ceramic, characterised by a low lead content and a low specific resistance between 3 and 30 OMEGA cm. The invention further relates to a method for the production of the ceramic, whereby the base materials which substantially determine the properties of the ceramic have their proportions determined and are mixed together in the form of solutions. The invention furthermore relates to a component comprising said ceramic material and the use of said component as a PTC resistance.
