Abstract
In the production of 67-76 wt.% nitric acid (HNO3) by a one- or two-pressure process, in which compressed process air is used for combustion of ammonia and the resultant nitrous gases are (partly) absorbed by water, giving HNO3, the process air supplied from the outside is dried to reduce its water vapor content.
