Through each corner end (20; 30) there is cut perpendicularly to the cutting plane of the mitre cut (23; 33) a groove (24; 34), which runs in the central region of the soffit member (21; 31), the grooves (24; 34) of a pair of corner ends (20, 30) being congruent and in line with each other however in the longitudinal direction of the mitre cut (23; 33) when the door case is in the assembled state.
