Abstract

The fire-proof door is formed from a box-shaped door leaf (1) which encloses mineral-fibre panels (5). A gap between edges (6) of angled edge strips (7) of the cover plates (2, 3) is bridged by the frame (4). The profile of the frame (4) is provided in its central region with a groove (8) which is open to the outside and in which are provided a strip (10) which foams under the action of heat, and a plaster channel (11).
