Abstract

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner ancillary device (1) which comprises a suction tube (2), a mouthpiece (3) which may be connected to it and a container (4) for cleaning fluid fitted on the suction tube, in which ancillary device (1) a distribution strip (7) linked to the container so as to conduct liquid and a movably mounted applicator member assigned to it are provided in the mouthpiece housing and additionally suction slits (10) are formed on both longitudinal sides of the applicator member. The force required to move the ancillary device (1) backwards and forwards may be kept low since the applicator member is designed as a pivotable roller made of sponge-like material and the roller space (5) surrounding the roller (6) is pressure-isolated from the suction slits (10) and subjected to ambient pressure. <IMAGE>
