Motor pump unit of a high-pressure cleansing apparatus, comprising an electromotor arranged in a motor housing, the shaft of said motor protruding into a pump housing where it drives the piston or pistons of a high-pressure pump via a gear unit, said motor housing (2) and said pump housing (13) being designed as a one-piece component (14), characterized in that in the region of said pump housing (13) a chamber (19) accommodating the electrical installation of said motor is formed onto said one-piece housing component (14), said chamber being open outwardly and towards the interior space of said motor housing (2).
