Abstract
Method for introducing longitudinal profiles into the ground comprises measuring the dynamic stress directly on the profile during the introduction step and deriving control parameters from the dynamic stress for the introduction step. An independent claim is also included for a device for introducing longitudinal profiles into the ground. Preferred Features: A maximum stress of the profile is used as the first limiting value and the instantaneous stress during the introduction step is reduced when the first limiting value is exceeded.
