Abstract

The uncoiler has a chassis (2) on which a drum (3) is mounted in rotation around transverse axes (X, X'), where the drum receives a fire hose pipe. Two wheels (4a, 4b) assure rotational movement of the uncoiler, where the wheels are solid tires. A braking caliper (9) is pivotingly mounted on the chassis, and is formed by two lateral branches (9a, 9b) whose upper ends are connected by a transverse braking control arm (9c). Traction springs include an end fixed on lateral sides of the chassis.
