Abstract
The element (25) has a support element (27) with recess (28) for accommodation of a sound absorber (26) so that a surface of the recess constitutes 20 to 50 percentages of an upper surface (32) of the support element. The absorber includes an acoustically effective open surface formed by a micro perforation, a micro slot, micro slits (31) or combination. The open surface corresponds to 10 percentage of a total area of an upper surface of the absorber. The absorber is formed as a single element or a sandwich construction or without non-woven material. The absorber is made of glass material, acrylic glass, flat glass, float glass, polished glass, laminate safety glass, toughened glass, special purpose glass, metal, plastic or wood. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of sound absorbing acoustic element.
