Abstract

The rotor (1) has outward projecting vanes, in close sealed contact with the inside diameter of the stator (3) the stator has inward projecting vanes, in close sealed contact with the outside diameter of the rotor forming working chambers (13) supplied with oil under pressure through oil galleries (63,64). The rotor is connected to the camshaft (2) and the stator is connected to a sprocket (20) for a timing chain.
