Abstract

Safety device for a pin with self-locking to prevent a radial displacement; it comprises two U shaped blades (1, 2) bent together and adapted to be resiliently spaced from each other during assembly; the first of these blades (1) may be inserted radially into a peripheral throat (9) in a setting position, the second (2) acts as an independent spring lock. The first blade (1) is provided with an opening extending up to the bend of the U (4) and having a round shape adapted to the diameter of the bottom of the throat (9); this blade is restricted towards the bend of the U and is ended, in the other direction, by a slot opening into the second blade. Both ends (12) of the first blade are angled in the direction of the second blade and project in a recess (15) of this second blade which defines laterally these ends. The second blade is also provided with an opening having a round shape adapted to the outer diameter of the pin (6).
