Abstract

The system has a gas burner (32) attached to a combustion chamber (34). A monitoring device is provided for monitoring the process of the combustion. The combustion chamber, gas chamber, combustion gas ventilator (20) and monitoring device are arranged on a base plate (12) in a pre-assembled manner and are connected together in a functional manner. A partial flow of the combustion air is supplied as a cooling air to a hot gas sheet (36) arranged behind the combustion chamber via a cool air pipeline (46). A chimney (38) is downstream to the combustion chamber for guiding the exhaust gas.
