Abstract

Following a process to apply a paint coating to a web of paper, residual paint is collected from the coating assembly. The collected paint is then submitted to a grinding process and recovered for use in the same printing or painting process. The residual paint is ground to a particle size of less than 2 ~m. An independent claim is also included for a commensurate paint recovery assembly.
