Abstract
1. An oscillation-damping supporting bearing for buildings, which is built in between a foundation (A) and a wall structure (B) and comprises a spring system, which includes a movement damping member and an energy absorption member, the movement damping member being of sandwich-type construction (5, 6), which is made up as a layer structure composed of rubber plates (5) and steel plates (6) disposed therebetween, and the energy absorption member extending into the opposing surfaces of the foundation (A) and the wall structure (B) and encompassing a number of steel mandrels (3), characterized in that said mandrels (3) extend freely through said sandwich-type structure (5, 6) and are unsuited for receiving loads greater than those of the maximum load due to wind pressure.
