Abstract
The unit is located on the internal face (2) of a wall in front of heating equipment, e.g. an electric radiator. Its electrical resistance (4) is screen printed onto an insulating substrate (3). This assembly is located on one side of a thickness of closed cellular foam material (7) with good properties of electrical insulation. An adhesive surface (8) is located on the other side. The resistance (4) is covered with a thin layer (5) of plastic, with a thickness of about 50 mu m. The foam is preferably 0.8 mm thick. Heat emission is provided in various wattages, up to 1500 W/m2>.
