Abstract

1. Arrangement for monitoring plastic pipe lines with a pipe that is weaker with respect to the pipe line (2) to be monitored and a sealed chamber (12) which is operatively connected to a signal transmitter (4) and/or shut-off valve (3), characterized in that a pipe portion (6), whose rigidity against internal pressure at least over part of lenght is less than that of the pipe line (2), is disposed in a housing (5, 50) of a monitoring fitting (1) and that the sealed chamber (12) is disposed between the outer circumference of the pipe portion (6) and the housing (5, 50).
