Abstract

A ratchet mechanism (22) arranged in the front part (7) of the seat fixes this part (7) into basic and angled settings in relation to the seat base (2) in response to an actuator (18). The actuator unit is mounted accessibly in the front part (7) underside. The ratchet works by means of a slider (23) engaging complementary guides in the base over the seat length (L).
