Abstract

The clamping mechanism (1) with connecting clamps (2) consists of an insulating part (4) of plastics with several opposite line apertures (6) and at least one metal clamping body in a clamping chamber inside the insulating part. The clamping body permits plug connection at one side, and plug or screw connection at the other side for lines inserted through the line apertures. Each plug connection is carried out by clamping spring contacting. At least one plug connection is releasable by an external release key (12). The insulating part, together with each release key, is formed as an integral component (16) by injection moulding.
