Abstract

1. A device for a snow-grooming vehicle for comminuting, packing and preparing hard and ice-covered surfaces of the snow cover of a ski run, using a rotatable shaft (1) disposed transversely of the direction of travel of the vehicle and equipped with comminuting and packing tools (6) connected to the shaft (1) via elastic or pivotable connecting means (5), characterised in that the tools (6) are disposed along a helix in the circumferential direction of the shaft (1) at a freely selectable and variable angular offset ; the shaft (1) is polygonal in cross-section and accommodates interchangeable retaining plates for the tools (6) ; and the retaining plates (2, 2a) have apertures of a shape corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the shaft (1).
