Abstract
The fluid (17) is located in a vessel and vaporised by a heatable heating element so that the ensuing dry hot steam flows out under increased pressure from a housing through holes. The hot steam is condensed through cooling in the surrounding air into the smallest drops to produce the mist. The heating element can be heated by pyrotechnical heating mixture, electricity, heat pump. The heating element forms part of a heating system and thermal energy can be introduced into the heating element through a liquid heat carrier such as a melted or vaporised substance. The heating mixture can be electrically activated by passing current through a graphite or carbon core or thin metal wire.
