Abstract

A door frame with an improved assembly has an inner frame (2) aligned in a fitting rig secured to the wall by spacer screws (3). Edge strips (7) for the plaster layer are secured to the inner frame and the wall is rendered. An insulating bead (6) can be held between the inner frame and the wall. The inner frame forms a support for the actual door frame, which is fitted in at least two sections (14,15) clipped together onto the shaped edges of the inner frame and secured by fasteners.
