Abstract

The heat exchanger comprises a spiral tube (5) for feeding usage water into tank (2) arranged around central insert. The tank is fed with hot water. The tube (5) is arranged in a screw line-shaped groove (7) running peripherally in the insert (3) and the hot water is fed into the groove. The groove is formed on the outer periphery (6) of the insert (3). The grooved insert with its outer surface (6) contacts the inner wall (9) of the tank (3) in a medium-tight manner. The flanks of the groove run lip-fashion narrowing in the direction of the inner wall (9). Fixing components are provided for the tube and are formed as bulges on the flanks. The insert may be of thermoplastic.
