Abstract

An expansion vessel (1) with a liquid chamber (9) and a gas chamber (8), which are separated from each other by a dividing means, for example a membrane (6). The expansion vessel (1) has one connecting nipple (3), by means of which the liquid chamber (9) can be connected to a pipe system. At the position of the connecting nipple (3) a through-flow means (9a) is fitted in the expansion vessel (1), having at least one first conduit (10), and at least one second conduit (11) which is essentially separated from the first conduit. These conduits open out at a distance from each other in the liquid chamber (9) of the expansion vessel (1).
