Abstract

The drainage component comprises a rod-shaped, flexible drainage core (4) with flow paths for conducting away the pressed-out fluid from the press chamber (2) and a fluid-permeable filter casing (6) surrounding the core. At least one end of the discharge component is fixed to a juice collection plate, press plate (1), or to the press cover.
