Abstract

Method for operating a bath for electrochemical deposition of metals and of metal alloys on the surface of objects which are to be coated and which are arranged in the bath, the bath temperature being set and controlled and/or regulated via a heating system. The heating of the bath is effected by electromagnetic waves which do not have an adverse effect on the electrochemical deposition. The bath temperature is controlled or regulated by selecting and/or setting the frequency and/or the intensity and/or the action time of the electromagnetic waves. - Systems for implementing the method are likewise described.
