Abstract

The subject of the invention is a front sole retention device on a ski binding for a ski boot, which has a sole which projects in the front toe region. In this arrangement, this sole retention device has a footboard (1) for providing support from below for the ski boot (St), which footboard is mounted on the ski (Sk) to be pivotable between two end positions about a first pivot axis (2) extending transversely to the lengthwise axis of the ski and parallel to the surface thereof. In addition, an adjustable clamping device (6, 12) is provided in order to exert a clamping pressure on the ski boot (St) placed on the footboard (1) to secure the latter on the footboard (1).
