Abstract

The invention relates to a snow-gripping device for use in association with a touring-ski binding which has, articulated on a bearing block of a front sole-holding device, a support for clamping a ski boot in a pivotable manner about an axis running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the ski at a distance from the ski surface. In this construction, the snow-gripping device (1) has a base plate (2) and, starting from this, two lateral guide webs (3) which, in the use position of the snow-gripping device (1), project downwards beyond the ski running surface to engage in the snow.
